The proposals relate to the development of a new school building with a nursey and early years provision to cater for >600 pupils, with associated on-site parking provision, play areas and sports facilities.

DTP provided a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan to support the proposals, which were subsequently granted approval. DTP also addressed the accessibility options to increase the safety of staff, students, and visitors to the site.

The proposals merge the existing Ox Close Primary School and Ox Close Nursery into a new facility, which provides updated amenities.  The new site will have the capacity to accommodate future demands of the local area.

Working closely with site architects DTP provided input to the site layout, making changes to ensure the facility functions to the highest standard. Including demonstrating safe and suitable pedestrian access and servicing arrangements for the site.
