Project Information

Dynamic Transport Planning supported an application for a new eSports centre in Sunderland, North East England.

The scheme includes a national performance centre for British Esports, inclusive of training classroom, gaming arena and ancillary areas for studios, broadcasting, and editing, situated directly adjacent to the Sunderland Stadium of Light.

DTP provided a Transport Statement, including council specific accessibility review.  Additionally, DTP are retained to provide the Travel Plan for the site and ongoing Travel Plan support.

Multi-modal trip generation estimates for the centre predict the travel movements of approximately 120 students accessing the site. Additional trip generation for the use of the unit as an events space, outside of collage hours is also considered to provide a robust assessment.
