DTP partnered with Durham Cricket CIC to support proposals for a new 155-bedroom hotel within the cricket ground site. The development included additional parking and redesigned access at the north end of the ground to improve circulation and safety.

We delivered detailed trip generation estimates to assess the impact on the local road network and junctions, alongside a comprehensive Travel Plan promoting sustainable travel options for guests, staff, and visitors. Our work helped shape a development that balances accessibility, growth, and long-term sustainability
