Project Information
The scheme included an extension to the existing medical centre building. The two storey extension included a lift, additional consulting rooms, offices and waiting area.
As part of the proposals, DTP delivered a Technical Note addressing the multi-modal trip generation potential of the extension.
DTP also provided a Travel Plan Framework to support the development to encourage sustainable travel to and from the surgery.
As part of the initial analysis of the site an accessibility appraisal was undertaken for the site. Additionally, DTP used surveys to ascertain the methods of travel to site by both staff and patients, this data was then used to inform a Travel Plan with specific targets to increase sustainable travel.
