Two members of the Dynamic Transport Planning team have recently been confirmed as Members of the Society of Road Safety Auditors (SoRSA), enhancing the teams’ credentials for undertaking Road Safety Audits.
RSAs are undertaken when new road schemes are being designed and implemented and involve an independent review by a specialist road safety team focusing entirely on the safety aspects and implications of proposals, which are often related to new developments or road improvement schemes.
During the last two years, Dynamic Transport Planning have completed around 50 Road Safety Audits however the team have now added to their experience with further professionally accredited memberships.
Director Gavin Snowball and Associate Becky Hesketh have been confirmed as SoRSA members, completing the annual review process for the membership which is awarded by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT). Becky has had her membership confirmed for the first time whilst Gavin has previously been a SoRSA member.
Gavin also holds the Highways England Certificate of Competency in Road Safety Audits. This qualification means that our team is able to undertake Road Safety Audits on all sites including those that are located on Trunk Roads and Motorways, the Strategic Road Network managed by Highways England.
